Whatsapp Installation Instructions for your M35 Smartphone
The K-Touch M35 is a touchscreen smartphone with 1GHz Boradcom processor and 3.5 inch display. It operates on the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich system and this device has 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of storage. It is compatible with both 2G and 3G networks, GPRS and EDGE.
Minimum requirements for downloading the app are as follows:
Android OS 2.1 or above
Unlimited internet data plan recommended
Using the web browser on your M35, visit the following site you may be directed to the mobile site which is fine.
Click the green install button. After pressing the install button, you will see a list pop up that will show all the applications and utilities that Whatsapp requires access to for installation. Press the green accept button in the lower right hand corner. The download process will begin automatically.
Once the download is complete, you will be given the option to uninstall or open. Choose the open option to launch the whatsapp app.
Your next screen will be the welcome screen and you must tap the Agree and continue button.
Now enter your complete phone number in the field provided and verify the defaulted country is correct. Tap the green arrow button next to the phone number field once the number is entered.
A pop-up will appear showing the phone number you entered and asking if this number is the number you want verified. You will be given the option to edit the number if necessary. Tap ok to proceed with verification. It
will send an SMS message and automatically verify. Once verification is made, you will see a screen with your name on it. You have the option to edit the name displayed and also add a profile picture. Once you have completed the name and optional pic, click the word next located in top right hand corner.
Initialization will begin, click the continue button when offered.
You are now ready to use whatsapp for messaging and calls.
The app opens with the chat screen. You can tap the message icon located at the top of the screen and it will automatically show you all of your existing contacts who are using the whatsapp app already.
