Qmobile is a is new Pakistan’s quality brand mobile phone and smartphone producers, well known for the Qmobile e860 – e880 – e890 – e950 models.

Those models, considering the limited hardware and the absence of Android or similar famous operating system (like iOs or Nokia symbian) are quite cheap and produced mainly for the low-end users. The low-cost price make them very affordable but, at the same time, the lack of a good compatible Operating system make the installation of well known Apps (like Whatsapp) not so easy. But here there is a simple solution !

The Qmobile e860, e880, e890 and e950 models run on a simple JAVA OS (operating system) so you can download and install Whatsapp on these old phones by following the Whatsapp for JAVA guide published here. Regarding running Whatsapp on these old mobile phones there is some additional limitations, like:

1) If you wish to send little emoji (emoticons) in your messages, you will need another app. Sorry guys, this is not something which is included. You need to download a separate app for this.

2) When you wish to send certain messages, you will need to look at each icon. There is one on the bottom for the microphone. This is for sending voice messages to the person. There is an icon on the left, this is the arrow. Use this to send video footage or pictures. All the other icons are pretty much self-explanatory.

3) Blocking someone is so easy. All you do is go into your contacts. Find the name and click on the “block” tab. Once this is done, he or she can’t get in touch with you for any reason.

4) If you wish to backup any files, you can do it one of two ways. You can do things manually or it automatic. If you want to do things manually, pick any given day and back everything up. If you wish to do things automatically. Go into the settings and pick when you want it to be done and the repetition.

1) Is messaging free?
It depends. Do you have a valid subscription to the app? Do you have enough data usage on your phone? If the answers to these are yes, then everything is covered.

2) What if I am having problems with the data?
I personally recommend you use a wifi connection. This will help out. If you have a “roaming” phone, you might have to pay for extras.

3) What happens when I send messages inviting friends to use the app?
You may or may not have to deal with extra charges. It all depends on the phone service you use.

4) What does the “call feature” do?
Whatsapp doesn’t provide one. If you are using one, it’s what it already on your phone. If you use this feature, even for Whatsapp, you might have to pay extras with this too. Check with your phone company first.

Whatsapp for GALAXY S5 and S4

Whatsapp software is an important tool to keep in touch with friends and family on a mobile phone. Like most other leading mobile platforms, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 allow users to download and install the Whatsapp software.

To get started, click or tap on the Google Play Store app on your phone. This is one of the major pre-installed applications on your phone. Tap the search icon in the upper right hand corner and type Whatsapp into the search bar.

Next, tap on the Whatsapp icon which should be the first result of the search. Finally, tap on the install button and once the application has been installed, open the software.

One of the best features of Whatsapp is that all of your pre-stored phone contacts are automatically your Whatsapp contacts. As long as your contact has also installed Whataspp on their phone, you can immediately begin messaging them so their is no need to “Friend”, “Follow” or “Connect” with them.

Tap on the search icon in the upper right hand corner to search for a friend. You may either type in the name of the contact or scroll down the phone to find them. Tap on the name, enter your text using the keyboard that appears and finally tap on the arrow in the lower right hand corner to send.

Whatsapp provides the option to send much more than just text. To send an emoticon (emoji), tap on the smiley face in the lower left hand corner, choose an emoticon and send. To send pictures, video, maps or other files click on the paper clip icon in the upper right hand corner. A list of the specific type of media will appear. Tap on the media you would like and confirm to be sent.

You may also start a group with multiple individuals receiving the same text, video or other media at the same time. Simply click on the file icon on the lower left hand corner of the phone itself (not on the app interface). A list of options will appear. Tap on the “The Chat” option. Type the name of the group on the following page and finally choose the contacts that you would like in the group by typing the names.

Whatsapp for XIAOMI Redmi

WhatsApp is quite simply the most popular app available for both Android and iPhone users alike and different. While it’s so popular due to how simple and user-friendly it is, it also does its job and helps the users chat and interact with others in a clean, simple design.

And while Android and iPhone’s might be the most popular phone models on the market, they’re not the only ones. Users who have the Xiomi Redmi also have the same chance to download the app, have fun with it and use it to their full advantage, and still get all the same amazing features and abilities that users with other device platforms have.

One issue that a lot of Xiomi Redmi users have been having after officially downloading and installing is that they don’t know how to get their contacts into the apps own version of a phone book. If you’re a longtime user of WhatsApp or a greenie, the WhatsApp allows you to use your phones contact lists to transfer the contacts over so you don’t have to reenter them all again (though they’ll only be able to take information from your phone if you allow them). But a pressing issue for these users is that they’re seeing “No WhatsApp contacts” when they open and engage in the app. So this poses the question, how do we fix it?

There are a few simple steps to fix having no contacts after opening and installing:

Open your WhatsApp
Click on “Add Contacts”
Open the “Security” app
Click “permission” in the bottom left corner
Click “manage app permissions”
At the top, click “apps”
Search for WhatsApp in the list of your current downloaded or installed apps
Next, click “trust this app”

When you click this, you’ll be given a notification that says, “You will not be notified when this app executes security or privacy related actions”. If you click “OK”, you’re giving them permission to have access to your phone. Keep this in mind.

After you do this, open the WhatsApp again and go back to “add contacts”. In the top you’ll see a refresh button. Click this, wait a few seconds and all your contacts will be loaded into the apps phone book.

This is a simple fix to a common problem that most users face, but once it’s solved, you be back up and running in no time.
